Love mine. Can make smoothies and hot soups back to back for lunch. I'm a convert to Vitamix. Had to use 3 years worth of gift certificates from the kids to afford one. Got one of the newer electronic models in the mid-range of functionality. Saved the Kitchen Aid to make crushed ice for mixed drinks and bed for raw oysters.
