Macon, IL | Good deep shelves-wherever you get or build. Then to keep things neat I bought the largest totes with lids I could find and have them organized by machine. Planter parts, sickle parts, hydralic "stuff", electrical whatsitz, extra belts, etc. Anything I don't use at least once a month goes up on the loft.
Other thing that is really nice is a good sized cabinet with 2 doors on it-put in oil filters, fuel filters, etc.
Finally-I put an on the wall workbench up there, couple outlets, air outlet-amazing how much I use it to sort through stuff, do little jobs, etc. Pull down chopsaw and make 1 cut-rather than haul the whole thing up and down.
I wish I had started with clear plastic-because I went to those 1/2 way through and like them much better-easier to see through than to read labels.
