| I grew up on the farm with cows, hogs and chickens. We butchered all of those over the years. Those that come from the farm know what it is like to eat liver, it is part of the animal, so you eat it. The only thing I was not real nuts over was cow tongue.
And every kid knows how enjoyable it is to steal the gizard, and liver out of the frying pan when mom is cooking chicken.
Liver sausage is still a favorite of mine, hard to find a good place to buy it, but I try.
Add: I forgot to add the heart, when finding treasures in the chicken frying pan.
