Subject: An accidental sardine recipe find

Southern Ontario
First, thanks gents for your recent ideas on dressing up canned fish.
Just the addition of lemon juice to sardines is really nice.

Coincidentally, this morning, I was just reading a newspaper and having exhausted most of their other stories, I had scrolled way down to the back pages.....
.....there, tucked away, they reviewed a recipe from a new book.... 'The Tinned Fish Cookbook'.
A new book with ideas on how to use canned, fatty fish like sardines, herring and such.
Even better, this newspaper (National Post) indicates they will be reviewing a new recipe from the book for the next 3 consecutive days.
A link to the book's promotional website is embedded in the attached review.
I had recently (and also accidentally) stumbled on a great discount from our local grocery that was trying to move their over-shipment of some nice canned fish.
I picked up a couple of fresh cases of salmon and tuna at 20 cents a can.
So I am really looking forward to trying these preparation ideas.
It appears not all the recipes are concerned about low carb but on the other hand, they do seem to advocate cheese with fish.
Nevertheless, modify if you must, and enjoy.....your next, exciting supper of tinned fish.
