Subject: RE: Pork belly on the smoker/final results

Northwest Iowa
Kind of went round and round with my wife (RN) about this. I said, Do you think the cholesterol d=from the food leaps into your blood vessels? Probably not the best response as my jaw hurt for a week -just kidding. 35 years ago the MIL had blow the needle cholesterol. She was eating baked potatoes dry and salad with no dressing and made no difference. FIL at bacon, fried potatoes, etc for 3 meals a day and had low cholesterol. Gotta be objective on one's investigations.
