Wow! thanks for replying.

The place I fish in Ontario, the deepest water is about 110'

I just began catching lake trout at 50', after years of going to the deepest water in summer.

Never heard them called Mackinaws, guess that is why this site, I enjoy

Brian... I use/have electric down riggers, but deep water is 150' max.
