Off op, however, had to go lookin for google

suds saver...Have to admit, thought suds saver

would be in one of those $2400 duos that folks

enjoy buying these days - learned that not so..

I remember mom getting a GE auto reloading washer

along about 59 or 60...She used at least warm water,

maybe even hot - don't remember..

Now days my 1946 mind can not remember using warm

water here to wash clothes...Water is cheap here, never

have thought about saving it, both piped from city and

a well here...Hot water line hasn't been hooked to washer

for at least 2 washer machines ago..

 

After reading there, and here, about saving water,

thinking about blowing wash and sink water over the

yard this summer...Doubt that happens tho, really..
