That saves an unbelievable amount of labor cost to have a person gather carts all day long all around the parking lot. I think it is a great idea and our local All D’s is always busy
Not only is a brilliant idea to save the store money. You won't find a single cart left out in the parking lot.
So it saves them money, allowing them to lower prices. Keeps their carts from getting run into. Keeps my car from getting hit by run away carts. Parking spots aren't taken up by cart corrals.
I really can't see a down side to their $.25 deposit to use a cart.
