Keokuk Co, IA | Wife and I are building a new home and would like some recommendations on what to plant in front. That's the garage on the left - there were originally 2 sets of windows in the bid but we removed one set to save a little money. We assumed the single set of windows would be centered on the long wall but it didn't turn out that way. Now we have an offset window and a large open space that definitely needs something in front of it. What should we put there? Thought maybe a lilac bush or some kind of ornamental tree? This is in southern Iowa.
