Subject: RE: food at curbside milk limits

Central, IA
I live in a town of 3500. We have a smaller grocery store that has struggled for several years to keep food fresh as many shopped 10 miles away at bigger chain grocery stores.

In the last month, we've made it a point to avoid the big stores and have only shopped at the local store. A few weeks ago during the height of the panic buying there was limited dairy, bread and of course no TP. I was in there yesterday to get milk and was amazed at how well the produce looked and the dairy and bread isles were full and had product on sale. Milk was regular price, but a dozen eggs were $3.50. The store doesn't have every ingredient that a store 4 times the size would have, but it is fairly isolated and has been a blessing with limited traffic during the last month. We are going to make it a point to shop there more in the future.
