I've read several legitimate reasons. Depending on the contracts, a dairies milk may go to a plant that only produces products for restaurant use and doesn't have the ability to bottle in consumer packaging. Makes sense. The dairy folks on social media including Derick at Tillamook Dairy have explained it.

must be why the word was out that the Pepsi warehouse was out of diet pop

can't get bottle back to refill .no they is "cans" must be out of aluminum
