A couple of big proponent doctors are Dr Paul Saladino and Dr Shawn Baker. There are lots of other bloggers also on Youtube that talk about their results and do interviews. Quite a community. Although it is small, it is gaining popularity. It seems to have been a blessing to a number of people that have real metabolic issues or plant toxin issues. That may be a small portion of the population, but for the ones it affects it is a really big deal. The Peterson's are a couple of more famous people that have been helped by eliminating plants from their diet.

From what I have learned it seems to be an excellent elimination diet. Go 100% meat for 2-4 weeks then start experimenting adding back things into the diet to see what was causing the problems. A number of people have done that then just stayed on the meat diet because they were doing so much better. Autoimmune diseases seem to be especially helped by an all meat diet in many cases. Thing of it is, the ones that have went to it often report major results within the first week. Like almost immediately. So if someone wants to try it for a week or two, they likely will know pretty quickly if it is going to help with any of their issues. On the opposite end of that, Micheala (sp) Peterson said that when she added things back into her diet that bothered her she had to do it for at least a couple of weeks because sometimes the problem would take a while to manifest. So if a person tries all meat diet, they likely will notice positive results if they are going to pretty quickly. So it is not something a person has to commit to for months to see results.
