Subject: 600 Quadtrac - radiator beware

Anyone experienced a radiator failure in their quadtrac? We purchased tractor new. It has just over 2000 hrs on it now. All PM's have been kept to date including use of factory recommended XHD premix coolant. Found puddle under machine a few weeks ago so we pulled radiator and had it checked. Radiator shop says it's not worth repairing 7+ pinholes. Called dealership and discovered new one from mother Case is north of $4k. Found "Adams" mfg sticker on original radiator so gave them a call. The old part # is no good. They say "New part#" is now "higher performance and heavier duty plate style" which in my book means Case sold me a crap radiator to begin with. New radiator just arrived Friday. Looks somewhat different. Oh- and I almost forgot- the person taking the order for the new radiator told me 'That's a hot part#, we've shipped out 7 of them so far this week!'. So seems that some of you may be experiencing same issue????
