I have a 7 year old Lenovo T430 laptop and I also have a desktop I rebuilt a few years ago. The two images below show the specs of each one. From the first day I built the desktop it has been a dog. Why? My laptop performs flawlessly with much older hardware. Very simple stuff like opening a web browser or even having the device manager open (device manager constantly refreshes every few seconds) is a chore on the computer I built. Why is the home built one so terrible?
