We haven’t done it to new ones, but we do it all the time to older ones on the combine and have never had one fail. I wonder if some saying over greasing is a problem is because of not getting the dirt cleaned off the zerk and frequent greasing just adds more dirt than non frequent greasing. The only bearings I’ve ever seen fail were dry.
Anyone else do this to bearings?
