You are doing the right thing , my brother is a engineer with a company that makes bearings along with other products and what you are doing will make that bearing last a lot longer, do not listen to the naysayers, its only common sense, you can not over grease a bearing!
I don't agree with that at all, we used to grease our disk every day and had incessant bearing issues. We started greasing it once a week and haven't had a bearing fail in a few seasons now, you are the first person I have ever heard say that you can't over grease a bearing...... |
Anyone else do this to bearings?
