NW Ohio,near Findlay | Refresh me, when the parking brake is on, what lights up, is it the stop light? I thought it did. That spring loaded braking brake had a updated recall. Not sure what the recall was, but ours went to the dealer and Buck and Knobby did the fix. According to the dealer the recall was a stronger parking brake spring, that quoted does not break. BUT, after the recall, ours would blow the converter oil out of the fill, dipstick tube. Dealer could only advise us the newer part would release too fast. I would bet your problem would have something to do with the parking brake sensor going bad or maybe not releasing fully.
