just a tish NE of central ND
Our old 87 f 150 and the trailer made out of the back half has been know for the last 13-14 years as "old smokey".. The name came after it burned the cab to the ground. We have a combine we call Michelle after its previous owner friend of ours. Our Volvo semi is know as "Bob-Oooo-" after a previous owner and good friend of ours.
....The JD GPS" 2600 screen and autotrack" got named OTTO as in ...AUTO-STEER ....by my grandson when he was about to turn 5 years old and riding with me while seeding. He says our good buddy OTTO is steering the tractor for us!
I can still hear him screaming the first time he realized I was letting go of the steering wheel and he knew we were going to crash if the tractor wasn't being steered.. (: But, OTTO took over and saved us!
