| Are you steering the tractor or while using autosteer? I have an 8480 that has Trimble Autopilot hooked up to the factory steering valve through the can bus system. While using the autosteer mine would arbitrarily turn hard left. I could not steer it unless I turned the autoguide switch off on the right side pillar. Ended up replacing the valve. I did notice that when it would act up the can bus messages would stop ( I could see this through my FMX screen controlling the autosteer). Just spitballing here, but I think part of the valve was shorting out, but I don't know. I do know after digging long enough that the valves on the tractors were known to have problems. | |
