Ubiquiti stuff is awesome. As mentioned not everything works exactly like it should but for basic connectivity it works amazing. I have two remote buildings connected and it just flat works.

The problem many people have is it is not really meant as consumer grade equipment. The setup is not easy and straightforward like a router you buy at wal mart. It is designed for and marketed towards networking professionals.

I am not a computer professional but I have background in that. 20 years ago I was a system administrator for about 100 people using windows and Unix machines. A lot has changed since then but I know enough to figure most things out. For the average end user so much of the setup of ubiquiti gear is like trying to read Chinese. It can be done. You tube is your friend, but don’t expect to take it out of the box plug it in and it work.
