How many hours are on your 7210??
I'm thinking if the bearing is bad, maybe the viscous part of it is about wore out too?? Unless the bearing was defective, which could certainly be possible.
I've replaced a fair number of viscous drives in my time because they weren't working properly, and causing overheating. But I never replaced just the bearing that I recall.
