So why does everyone, and I mean everyone need immediate money to survive? It was all based on borrowed money thats why.
Not everyone needs it, but they will all take it because if it’s getting handed out to everyone else, you’re falling behind if you decline. Just like farm subsidies.
Even a lot of the people that do need it wouldn’t have needed it if the economy had kept moving. They had it good enough for so long that they adjusted their finances to the same kind of “just in time” delivery that factories use. That all great for efficiency right up until an event like this when it suddenly doesn’t work at all.
