Subject: RE: MT755B Challenger for Dependable horsepower?

NWIA
so we got to drive this 755b yesterday, and its very clean for a tractor with 6300 hrs. 24" tracks are very good. Has wide bogeys not narrow

Hes asking 62500 firm for it.

on the issues you all are mentioning,:
Yes! this tractor IS seeping a tiny bit of oil from the reaction arm bushing. We are hearing 4-6K on the reaction arm (was caught in the inspection)
but he doesn't think the oil was ever changed? so I'm wondering if we did buy it, would it might make sense to have the other side done as well right
after spring tillage?

AND the air conditioner sounds like it needs updating, haven't gotten an estimate yet.

so next question, Is there any way to know for sure what the guidance steering capabilities are on a tractor of this model?

So with the track tractor you already have a valve, yes? But does that necessarily mean you can (for sure)
hook a nav, globe and display up to it, or is it possible the valve might need to be changed out ? something else
added?

This tractor has a nine pin connection outside the cab.

With all the known issues it has we were thinking of moving along, but here's the kicker, we ran the front end out of our #1 tillage tractor last
nite so other than a rental unit I located -we're in a pickle-.

Thanks Much for the advice guys!
