farmer45 - 4/8/2020 05:34 The question yet to be answered is how much longer will this virus be around because of the steps that have been taken? It is probably good for the elderly and those with lung problems to be sheltered but would it have been better to let the virus run its course.

Even with "Herd Vaccination/Immunity" the virus would have over run the hospital/health care system in the US, if it was allowed to simply run it course. Keep in mind, It is not just those with pre-existing conditions ending up in Hospitals/ICU units . . . . .  . Maybe it wouldn't be the case in very rural areas, but any city of density would be catastrophic from a health care perspective.

It's not the Dead that over whelm the health care system - it's those that need care and recover .  . ..
