It is probably good for the elderly and those with lung problems to be sheltered but would it have been better to let the virus run its course. Even with "Herd Vaccination/Immunity" the virus would have over run the hospital/health care system in the US, if it was allowed to simply run it course. Keep in mind, It is not just those with pre-existing conditions ending up in Hospitals/ICU units . . . . . . Maybe it wouldn't be the case in very rural areas, but any city of density would be catastrophic from a health care perspective. It's not the Dead that over whelm the health care system - it's those that need care and recover . . ..
