SE MN | You know what else could destroy the economy? Telling everybody to go back to work too soon, having another flare up and sending everybody back home again. That would also have the lovely effect of crushing everyone’s spirit and destroying whatever confidence people have left in leadership.
This has already been thought through and studied by people who have actual scientific and medical expertise. Look into the research on cities that handled the 1918 flu response differently and their outcomes.
Also, China has the ability to force their people to do anything and no worries about human rights. Don’t you think they prioritized the economy over everything else? What path did they take? | |
