Western-Central Lower Michigan | One issue Ive encountered is during freezing weather the tractor coupler just wont work. Near impossible to connect or disconnect anything.
Second is if you have a pressure washer, use the hottest steam or water to clean those fittings on the tractor. Dirt/moisture makes them hard to connect/disconnect.
Also make sure you put the levers on the tractor console in FLOAT, full forward to unhook. If there is any pressure left on the hydraulic hose its very very hard to disconnect or re-connect again. To the point we have to unscrew the Hyd hose and drain the pressure to connect.
New tractors can apparently connect or disconnect with "say the implement in the raised position". That just wont happen with the old style couplers on the CIH 92xx and 93xx series tractors.
We have one of each, plus newer tractors. Been there done that.
Just our experience. |
