The donor is a 9950, with gear drive water pump as well
So the fan height was same? The oil pickup was from a 4850? Did you leave the pump set for the picker or turn it down?
This 4840 has an electric tach, don’t know if it was born this way or if it was cobbled on.
I never saw a 40 series with an electric tach, second new thing I've learned today!!
