| So with all the new Treasury issuance coming to the bond market in the coming months, does the stock market need to sell off (or stay down) in order to get more people to buy up the new Treasury paper? Or is there enough demand for Treasuries to soak up the additional $2Trillion (on top of the $1 trillion deficit spending already)??
I mean, usually the bond market gets a bid when the stock market plummets. I wonder if the stock market can keep chug-a-lugging higher with so much Treasury paper needing to be issued? Or I guess the Fed can just buy it all too... what with their limitless ability to create money and all! Fun times ahead! Cheers! | |
