North of London | Sometimes I wonder how we got along without all these 'smart' machines
Our first computer and 'word processor' i think it was called had2 floppy disks that you ran through to check your document for spelling mistakes and we were able to add unusual words that were medical in nature when my wife was taking extra courses so 3 floppy disks for the spell checking program which was separate from the word processor to check for spelling often just 'fat finger' mistakes
Now we get mistakes pointed out as we type and possible correct words suggested if not automatically replaced.
It does lead to some funny messages though when auto correct really takes the message in strange directions. | |
