No rules here. Thankful for that. I'd burn it right on the pad or push it in slightly first and then burn it. Like the other poster said pick out the steel and haul or bury the rest. Digging a hole creates more work too. Hole settles following year, need to fill that in etc, etc. I knocked down an old house last year and piled it up as it was too close to the new house. Burned ok but not great. Just can't get the air going through it. Burnt another house last summer. Fire dept used it for a drill so of course burnt standing up. All that was left was the foundation and ashes. Far better.
