Subject: RE: No start chainsaw or any gas engine

SW Ohio
Guys, guys guys......and gals.
When diagnosing a gas engine you need to go back to fundamentals. It takes five things for an internal combustion gas engine to run.
One, fuel
Two, air
three, ignition
Four, compression
Five timing of all of the above

Work through those and you will find the problem.
On chain saws and other tools that ran fine last week or last year, the likely culprits are fuel and ignition.
