I buy lots of truck fuel with mine, and one time somebody had my number and purchased $200 worth of fuel about 250 miles south of here. I had the card in my pocket. I don't know how they did that. Anyway, they shut my card off and called and asked if I had bought anything. Then took the charges off.
Wife's debit card bought several hundred of something in India one night. Bank called first thing in the morning to verify the charges were not legit. They put the money back in our bank account right then.
