Iowa | The sender for the air pressure light is located on the air filter housing, so it would not be affected by increased negative pressure between the collapsed hose and the turbo. The hose would collapse before the pressure would get low enough to set off the warning light on the dash. The pressure drop from the hose collapse is also very short in duration. I'm not sure if it would be low enough long enough to set off the alarm. I've got about 15000 hours on used 7250s and have yet to see the air filter warning light come on, so I'm not sure what it would take for that to happen (maybe they don't even work). I've got the new hose just in time to get rained out, so things will have to dry up a little before trying it out. | |
