My 2013 500DT does the same thing. Even with the parking brake engaged, that brake is still the problem. There is a button that is supposed to pop up (like a seat switch) when the parking brake is engaged. Turn the key and push on that button slightly several times and she will start. Email me if that doesn’t make sense.
