I erroneously posted below that 1099 labor is not included on PPP applications. It is.
Sorry for the misinformation.
I've been back and forth on this myself first thinking 1099 labor should be included then not. Our understanding now (for whatever that's worth) is that the 1099 labor should be making their own application since they are a self employed business. If the person paying the 1099 labor files for PPP on them then the 1099 labor files their own then that's sort of double dipping. Not saying you're wrong because it's certainly very confusing. So happy they made all this $349B first come first served and gave us time to figure it all out. :-( |
