E.Central MN | None of what you are proposing has a snowball chance in heck of seeing the light of day. Farmers won't have a say in things, nor will consumers. Its all about who has the power in Washington today and that is the oil companies and the packers. Sure we've heard the words of support for ethanol from Trump just like we've heard the words from Grassley about having another investigation of the packers, we've heard it a hundred times and it won't change anything. Until it becomes an issue that threatens their re-election then nothing will be done about it, there's simply nobody at the USDA with enough guts to stand up for farmers. | |
