You've not seen good examples of homeschooling. You also lack understanding. Many homeschooled students have learned above their parents. To be a good homeschooling parent you must be humble enough to know your own limitations. At some point assisted or distance learning comes in where the parents are no longer able to teach on their own. The homeschool program our children will be enrolled in next school year is exceptional. The have a wide range of self taught (parents teach), self paced (recorded tutorials), and live online courses. They have students graduating and going straight into Ivy League schools with no prep. They also help their students apply for student aid. We already planned on this before the virus because public education is failing our children.
