Chip Flory had a good explanation about it in Agritalk pm on friday; America eats out and restaurant portions are huge and restaurants end up throwing out some uneaten food. Since everyone is at home, nobody wasting food at all. Cook, eat and put the leftovers in the fridge when youre at home. Which pretty much means we are over producing food.
I disagree. People will hoard food like the meat shortage in 1973. More will be wasted in time. Just like milk and TP. Nobody is all of the sudden using more.
