Aggieland		I’m going to vote bad regulator. Have you tried a different tank of propane? I had one that the safety valve acted up in and wouldn’t let enough gas out. But I’ve had two gas grills that regulators went bad on. One would let enough gas through to heat above 200 degrees and the other just died.

PS. You’re the first person I’ve ever seen try to fix a gas grill! ;-)
