Welcome to Ag Talk. 

No need to argue, but I don't think agweb was ever the top chat site. Ag Talk has more than likely held that honor for nearly 20 years. Most people don't like ads, but Agweb was ads. Agweb also gave some notoriety by publishing their posts on their commercial website or magazine.

As you may know, AgTalk started from a bunch of refugee ag people that once populated the Successful Farming chat room. The SF site died a long-long time ago, in computer years anyway.
