No definitive trials saying that it works for the coronavirus indication. Hydroxychloroquine can have some significant negative side effects and the therapeutic index for current approved indications is pretty narrow. It appears that 1-1.5 months there will be a few clinical readouts on the drug. The other negative affect can be that a run on hydroxychloroquine could diminish supply for those who really need it for approved indications.
