| The last part makes an interesting point. We are always chasing numbers instead of actual wealth. We want bigger numbers than the next guy so that we are doing better. We could divide everything, costs and wages, benefits, etc by a number, say by 10, and we would still live exactly the same as we were before. It’s just a number. It’s the purchasing power of our wage, no matter the number, that determines how well off we are. It’s all relative. | |
