Do you think "eradicating" it is possible? May be. We got rid of Polio and yellow fever.

But I wonder if this will not act more like the various influenza's. Never get rid of them, just learn to manage around them.

I can remember about ads talking about stamping out cancer since I was a young man (and that is a lot of years ago). Yet we have more cancer than ever (probably because of diet). Because we want and try to eradicate something does not mean we will accomplish it.
