Mid Michigan
I have a really good garden every year because I like doing it but I've never done the canning like my mother always did and still does. I'm kind of the garden guy at work and over the years have taken in hundreds of bags of produce for my co-workers and a lot of them can the tomatos and peppers, zuccinnis, pickles, onions. We also have apple and pear trees up the yin yang. I even take in some popcorn if I grow too much. I think it would be a great thing for people to use their yards like they used to for growing the products from fruit trees, gardens, strawberry patches, grape vines, blueberry bushes to grow products they can use at their own homes instead of fertilizing the grass and mowing it off with a 72 inch zero turn 3 times a week.
