Same here. Pancakes were one of my favorite breakfasts. Just couldn't turn them down. But man did they do bad things to my blood glucose levels and the amount of insulin shot I had to take. I just have to say "no", for my health. Funny thing is, I never cared that much for "real" maple syrup. It was "ok" but I liked the thicker fake stuff that was mostly corn syrup with either butter or maple flavor. I know, I know.........not an approved taste! LOL John
