Whole sections devoted to irrigation and I'll bet not one in ten growers in the state have anything to do with that practice. Few articles that actually pertain to farming in Michigan.
The "old" Michigan Farmer from back in my youth, had all sorts of articles of local interest and had an advertising section nearly as entertaining. However, there was a down side to the old publication as well.
Back in the bad old 80's as an ag lender, one thing you never wanted to see was one of your customers on the magazine cover. Was a pretty good omen of the operations immanent failure. | |
