I would guess thei proficiency of taking tests has got better. My brother in law runs a lab at a hospital. He said getting the swab far enough back to get a dna sample is not easy. Without a proper swab they will show up as negative.

I did the math neukm and you are right. That is a staggering number. NYC is marching toward herd immunity if that exists. Not sure it does if you can get it again.

Yes, I'm sure you are correct on the swabbing process, but the reduced total amount of tests reported for Apr 4th seems a bit suspect, although it looks like that number has varied considerably over the past week -10 days.
