Is a person with asthma unhealthy? They are more susceptible to this virus. If they do not get the virus, they are likely to live a long and prosperous life. If they get the virus they may have deadly complications.
I would say yes asthma is unhealthy wouldn’t you? They might live a long life until they get pneumonia from a cold or the flu or whatever. Asthmatic’s Lack of lung capacity may well lead to lack of excercise which may lead to obesity, high blood pressure, heart disease and diabetes. I can think of only one asthmatic in my life that was a non smoker and he was a classmate of mine in elementary school.
And my daughter, just graduating from college, never smoked, very athletic, not overweight, eats much better than most, takes care of herself. Still more susceptible.
What would you trade for everyone to go back to work tomorrow ?
