Could be as simple as the timing of the model is off as well. A 5 day shift window either side of the models projection can be either great or devastating. I hope we are all on the right side of the window. Local model, is saying anywhere from 600-4000 deaths, in an area with a population of -+450k, most of which is a city of 300k.
