Central IL | I bet the answer with be never! Our fire department garbage service was charging the fuel adjustments at about the same rate as yours. We contacted them a year or so ago and asked why the charge hadn't been reduced since fuel prices had dropped. They politely told us it was not going to happen because they were using it to hold down other costs.
We changed providers this winter when they told us that we were put on every other week pick up for the same costs. Our new garbage service picks up once per week and charges $80 per month less.
So we did take that proverbial leap and shove they wanted us to do. | |
